Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(MMP15 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in HL-60 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the MMP15 antibody detected the MMP15 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(MMP15 Antibody (N-term) (AP13751a)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human heart tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of MMP15 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. Most MMP's are secreted as inactive proproteins which are activated when cleaved by extracellular proteinases. However, the protein encoded by this gene is a member of the membrane-type MMP (MT-MMP) subfamily; each member of this subfamily contains a potential transmembrane domain suggesting that these proteins are expressed at the cell surface rather than secreted. Product Notes
The MMP15 mmp15 (Catalog #AAA6321363) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MMP15, NT (MMP15, Matrix metalloproteinase-15, Membrane-type matrix metalloproteinase 2, Membrane-type-2 matrix metalloproteinase, SMCP-2) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MMP15 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:10-50 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MMP15 mmp15 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MMP15, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
