Rabbit anti-Human Methylene Tetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase 2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-MTHFD2 antibody
Methylene Tetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase 2, CT (MTHFD2, Bifunctional Methylenetetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase/cyclohydrolase Mitochondrial, NADP+ Dependent Methylenetetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase 2 Methenyltetrahydrofolate Cyclohydrolase, NMDMC) (Biotin)
ELISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of MTHFD2 antibody (C-term) in NCI-H460 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). MTHFD2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human Colon carcinoma reacted with MTHFD2 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(MTHFD2 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of NCI-H460 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a nuclear-encoded mitochondrial bifunctional enzyme with methylenetetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase and methenyltetrahydrofolate cyclohydrolase activities. The enzyme functions as a homodimer and is unique in its absolute requirement for magnesium and inorganic phosphate. Formation of the enzyme-magnesium complex allows binding of NAD. Alternative splicing results in two different transcripts, one protein-coding and the other not protein-coding. This gene has a pseudogene on chromosome 7. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009]

Product Notes
The MTHFD2 mthfd2 (Catalog #AAA6487912) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Methylene Tetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase 2, CT (MTHFD2, Bifunctional Methylenetetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase/cyclohydrolase Mitochondrial, NADP+ Dependent Methylenetetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase 2 Methenyltetrahydrofolate Cyclohydrolase, NMDMC) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Methylene Tetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MTHFD2 mthfd2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Methylene Tetrahydrofolate Dehydrogenase 2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
