Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse ME2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ME2 antibody
ME2, CT (ME2, NAD-dependent malic enzyme, mitochondrial, Malic enzyme 2) (APC)
FLISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:100-500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(ME2 Antibody (C-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human rectum tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of ME2 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Western Blot (WB)
(ME2 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in mouse NIH-3T3,Neuro-2a cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the ME2 antibody detected the ME2 protein (arrow).)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a mitochondrial NAD-dependent malic enzyme, a homotetrameric protein, that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of malate to pyruvate. It had previously been weakly linked to a syndrome known as Friedreich ataxia that has since been shown to be the result of mutation in a completely different gene. Certain single-nucleotide polymorphism haplotypes of this gene have been shown to increase the risk for idiopathic generalized epilepsy. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2009]

Product Notes
The ME2 me2 (Catalog #AAA6319860) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ME2, CT (ME2, NAD-dependent malic enzyme, mitochondrial, Malic enzyme 2) (APC) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ME2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), FLISA, Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:10-50 FLISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ME2 me2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ME2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
