Related Product Information for anti-MAPK8IP3 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene shares similarity with the product of Drosophila syd gene, required for the functional interaction of kinesin I with axonal cargo. Studies of the similar gene in mouse suggested that this protein may interact with, and regulate the activity of numerous protein kinases of the JNK signaling pathway, and thus function as a scaffold protein in neuronal cells. The C. elegans counterpart of this gene is found to regulate synaptic vesicle transport possibly by integrating JNK signaling and kinesin-1 transport. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of some of these variants has not been determined. MAPK8IP3 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase 8 Interacting Protein 3) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are MAPK signaling pathway and Arf6 trafficking events. GO annotations related to this gene include kinesin binding and receptor signaling complex scaffold activity. An important paralog of this gene is SPAG9.

Uniprot Description

JIP3: a member of the JNK-interacting protein group of scaffold proteins that selectively mediates JNK signaling by aggregating specific components of the MAPK cascade to form a functional JNK signaling module. Shares similarity with the product of Drosophila syd gene, required for the functional interaction of kinesin I with axonal cargo. Studies in the mouse suggested that this protein may interact with and regulate the activity of numerous protein kinases of the JNK signaling pathway. The C. elegans counterpart of this gene is found to regulate synaptic vesicle transport possibly by integrating JNK signaling and kinesin-1 transport. Product Notes

The MAPK8IP3 mapk8ip3 (Catalog #AAA2560031) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAPK8IP3 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MAPK8IP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:40-1:200 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAPK8IP3 mapk8ip3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAPK8IP3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
