Related Product Information for anti-MAP3K6 antibody
This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. The encoded kinase was identified by its interaction with MAP3K5/ASK, a protein kinase and an activator of c-Jun kinase (MAPK7/JNK) and MAPK14/p38 kinase. This kinase was found to weakly activate MAPK7, but not MAPK1/ERK or MAPK14. An alternatively spliced transcript variant has been found for this gene, but its biological validity has not been determined.

Product Notes

The MAP3K6 map3k6 (Catalog #AAA629132) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAP3K6 (Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 6, MAPKKK6, Apoptosis Signal-regulating Kinase 2, ASK2, MEKK6) reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MAP3K6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:8000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml detects ~140kD band observed in Rat Heart lysates (calculated MW of 143kD according to Human NP_004663.3 and Rat NP_001101379.1). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAP3K6 map3k6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAP3K6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
