Related Product Information for anti-MAGEA5 antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against MAGEA5. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: This gene is a member of the MAGEA gene family. The members of this family encode proteins with 50 to 80% sequence identity to each other. The promoters and first exons of the MAGEA genes show considerable variability, suggesting that the existence of this gene family enables the same function to be expressed under different transcriptional controls. The MAGEA genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28. They have been implicated in some hereditary disorders, such as dyskeratosis congenita. This MAGEA gene encodes a protein that is C-terminally truncated compared to other family members, and this gene can be alternatively interpreted to be a pseudogene. The protein is represented in this Entrez Gene record in accordance with the assumed protein-coding status defined in the literature.

Product Notes

The MAGEA5 magea5 (Catalog #AAA3208146) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MAGEA5 antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MAGEA5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MAGEA5 magea5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: MSLEQKSQHC KPEEGLDTQE EALGLVGVQA ATTEEQEAVS SSSPLVPGTL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MAGEA5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
