Rabbit anti-Human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CCL19 antibody
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3, Human (MIP-3)
Purified by antigen affinity chromatography
Purified by antigen affinity chromatography
ELISA: To detect hMIP-3 by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of at least 0.5ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMIP-3.
Western Blot: To detect hMIP-3 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMIP-3 is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Reconstitute in 100ul of water for each 100ug of antibody to obtain a solution of 1mg/ml antibody in PBS. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored at -20 degree C for future use. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20 degree C. When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of ~0.2mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 degree C.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p-arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene may play a role in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. It also plays an important role in trafficking of T cells in thymus, and in T cell and B cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. It specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. Uniprot Description
CCL19: May play a role not only in inflammatory and immunological responses but also in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. May play an important role in trafficking of T-cells in thymus, and T-cell and B-cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. Specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. Recombinant CCL19 shows potent chemotactic activity for T-cells and B-cells but not for granulocytes and monocytes. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family.

Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCL19 ccl19 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
