Applicable Applications for anti-MIP-1g antibody
ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Neutralization
Application Notes
ELISA: Detection by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution), requires a concentration of at least 0.5ug/ml of antibody. This antigen-affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows detection of 0.2-0.4ng/well.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity (50ng/ml), a concentration of 1.75-3.0ug/ml of this antibody is required.
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Highly purified (>98%) recombinant antigen.
Conjugate
APC
Reconstitution
Lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20 degree C. When reconstituted in sterile water to a concentration of >=0.2mg/ml the antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 degree C.
Note
Preservative Free
Special Handling
Light sensitive
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.

Product Notes

The MIP-1g (Catalog #AAA6485924) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 gamma, Murine (MIP-1g) (APC) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 gamma can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Neutralization. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MIP-1g for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 gamma, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
