LUC7L2, CT (LUC7L2, Putative RNA-binding protein Luc7-like 2) (PE)
FLISA: 1:1,000
IHC: 1:50-100
WB: 1:100-500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of LUC7L2 Antibody (C-term) in MCF-7 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). LUC7L2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(LUC7L2 Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the LUC7L2 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(LUC7L2 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of MCF-7 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein that contains a C2H2-type zinc finger, coiled-coil region and arginine, serine-rich (RS) domain. A similar protein in mouse interacts with sodium channel modifier 1, and the encoded protein may be involved in the recognition of non-consensus splice donor sites in association with the U1 snRNP spliceosomal subunit. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]
Uniprot Description
LUC7L2: a Luc7 family protein that may bind RNA via its Arg/Ser-rich domain. Contains 1 C2H2-type zinc finger. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.
Protein type: C2H2-type zinc finger protein; RNA-binding
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 7q34
Cellular Component: nuclear speck; snRNP U1
Molecular Function: mRNA binding; protein binding; enzyme binding
Biological Process: mRNA splice site selection

The LUC7L2, CT (LUC7L2, Putative RNA-binding protein Luc7-like 2) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LUC7L2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), FLISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). FC/FACS: 1:10-50 FLISA: 1:1,000 IHC: 1:50-100 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LUC7L2 luc7l2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LUC7L2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
