Related Product Information for anti-LRFN1 antibody
LRFN1 Antibody: LRFN1 is one of a family of five transmembrane glycoproteins that are highly expressed in neuronal tissues. LRFN proteins share leucine-rich repeat (LRR)-immunoglobulin-like (Ig)-fibronectin type III (Fn)-transmembrane domain structure with other members of the LRR-Ig-Fn protein superfamily such as the Slitrk family of proteins. Expression of LRFN1, -3, and -4 mRNA was detected in embryonic neuronal cells, while Lrfn2 and Lrfn5 expression was primarily restricted to more mature cells. LRFN1, -2, and -4 bound to PDZ domains of postsynaptic PSD95, re-distributing PSD95 to the cell periphery. It has been suggested that the Lrfn proteins play a role in the developing and/or mature vertebrate nervous system. At least two isoforms of LRFN1 are known to exist.

Product Notes

The LRFN1 lrfn1 (Catalog #AAA150597) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LRFN1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LRFN1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). LRFN1 antibody can be used for detection of LRFN1 by Western blot at 1 - 2 mug/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 2.5 mug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 20 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LRFN1 lrfn1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LRFN1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
