Rabbit LIG3 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-LIG3 antibody
LIG3 Antibody (C-term)
member of this family encodes a protein that catalyzes the joining
of DNA ends but they each have a distinct role in DNA metabolism.
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in excision repair and
is located in both the mitochondria and nucleus, with translation
initiation from the upstream start codon allowing for transport to
the mitochondria and translation initiation from a downstream start
codon allowing for transport to the nucleus. Additionally,
alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different
isoforms, have been characterized.

Uniprot Description
LIG3: Interacts with DNA-repair protein XRCC1 and can correct defective DNA strand-break repair and sister chromatid exchange following treatment with ionizing radiation and alkylating agents. Belongs to the ATP-dependent DNA ligase family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The LIG3 lig3 (Catalog #AAA9213666) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 793-822. The LIG3 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LIG3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LIG3 lig3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LIG3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
