Related Product Information for anti-LHB antibody
Description: This gene is a member of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family and encodes the beta subunit of luteinizing hormone (LH). Glycoprotein hormones are heterodimers consisting of a common alpha subunit and an unique beta subunit which confers biological specificity. LH is expressed in the pituitary gland and promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids. The genes for the beta chains of chorionic gonadotropin and for luteinizing hormone are contiguous on chromosome 19q13.3. Mutations in this gene are associated with hypogonadism which is characterized by infertility and pseudohermaphroditism.
Function: Promotes spermatogenesis and ovulation by stimulating the testes and ovaries to synthesize steroids.
Subunit Structure: Heterodimer of a common alpha chain and a unique beta chain which confers biological specificity to thyrotropin, lutropin, follitropin and gonadotropin.
Similarity: Belongs to the glycoprotein hormones subunit beta family.

Product Notes

The LHB lhb (Catalog #AAA9607791) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The LHB Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's LHB can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB: 1:500-1:2000
IF: 1:100-1:500
ICC: 1:100-1:500
IHC: 1:50-1:200
ELISA (peptide): 1:20000-1:40000 The optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user.
Important note: For western blots, incubate membrane with diluted Ab in 5% w/v milk, 1X TBS, 0.1% TweenR20 AT 4°C with gentle shaking overnight. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LHB lhb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "LHB, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
