Rabbit anti-Human KLF4 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-KLF4 antibody
KLF4 Antibody (C-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(KLF4 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in A431,MCF-7 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the KLF4 antibody detected the KLF4 protein (arrow).)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent confocal image of SY5Y cells stained with MBS9201757 KLF4 (C-term) antibody. SY5Y cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.2%, 30 min), then incubated with MBS9201757 KLF4 (C-term) primary antibody (1:200, 2 h at room temperature). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:1000, 1h). Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (5.25 uM, 25 min). KLF4 immunoreactivity is localized very specifically to the nuclei of the SY5Y cells.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(KLF4 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of K562 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
KLF4: Transcription factor; can act both as activator and as repressor. Binds the 5'-CACCC-3' core sequence. Binds to the promoter region of its own gene and can activate its own transcription. Regulates the expression of key transcription factors during embryonic development. Plays an important role in maintaining embryonic stem cells, and in preventing their differentiation. Required for establishing the barrier function of the skin and for postnatal maturation and maintenance of the ocular surface. Involved in the differentiation of epithelial cells and may also function in skeletal and kidney development. Contributes to the down-regulation of p53/TP53 transcription. Interacts with POU5F1/OCT4 and SOX2. Interacts with MUC1 (via the C-terminal domain). Belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The KLF4 klf4 (Catalog #AAA9201757) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 394-421. The KLF4 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's KLF4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KLF4 klf4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KLF4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
