Related Product Information for anti-JNK2 antibody
The JNK pathway is activated by largely distinct stimuli including inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-a and IL-1), UV light, inhibitors of protein synthesis and osmotic stress. Activated MEKK1 phosphorylates SEK1 (also known as MKK4), which in turn activates SAPK (also known as JNK). JNK binds tightly to the N-terminal region of c-Jun and ATF-2, and phosphorylates c-Jun at Ser63 and Ser73 and ATF-2 at Thr69 and Thr71.

Product Notes

The JNK2 (Catalog #AAA649325) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The JNK2, Phosphorylated (Thr183/Tyr185) (c-Jun N-terminal Kinase 2, JNK2alpha, JNK2A, JNK2beta, JNK2B, JNK-55, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 9, MAP Kinase 9, MAPK 9, MAPK9, PRKM9, p54a, p54aSAPK, Stress-activated Protein Kinase 1a, SAPK1a, SAPK, Stress-ac reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's JNK2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC). Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunocytochemistry: 10-20ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 10-20ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 20-30ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the JNK2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "JNK2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
