Rabbit anti-Human JMJD3 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-JMJD3 antibody
JMJD3, NT (KDM6B, JMJD3, KIAA0346, Lysine-specific demethylase 6B, JmjC domain-containing protein 3, Jumonji domain-containing protein 3, Lysine demethylase 6B) (PE)
FLISA: 1:1,000
IHC: 1:10-50
WB: 1:250-500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-JMJD3 (N-term) Pab (AP1022a) in Hela cell line lysates. JMJD3 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with JMJD3 (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of JMJD3 Antibody (N-term) with Hela cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). Actin filaments have been labeled with Alexa Fluor 555 phalloidin (red).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
JMJD3: Histone demethylase that specifically demethylates 'Lys- 27' of histone H3, thereby playing a central role in histone code. Demethylates trimethylated and dimethylated H3 'Lys-27'. Plays a central role in regulation of posterior development, by regulating HOX gene expression. Involved in inflammatory response by participating in macrophage differentiation in case of inflammation by regulating gene expression and macrophage differentiation. Interacts with TLE1. Component of the MLL4 complex, at least composed of MLL4, ASH2L, RBBP5, WDR5, and KDM6B. By 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA) in myeloid leukemia cells. Belongs to the UTX family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: EC 1.14.11.-; Oxidoreductase
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 17p13.1
Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; nucleus
Molecular Function: protein binding; dioxygenase activity; sequence-specific DNA binding; metal ion binding; beta-catenin binding

Product Notes
The JMJD3 kdm6b (Catalog #AAA6311740) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The JMJD3, NT (KDM6B, JMJD3, KIAA0346, Lysine-specific demethylase 6B, JmjC domain-containing protein 3, Jumonji domain-containing protein 3, Lysine demethylase 6B) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's JMJD3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), FLISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). IF: 1:10-50 FLISA: 1:1,000 IHC: 1:10-50 WB: 1:250-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the JMJD3 kdm6b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "JMJD3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
