Related Product Information for anti-ITLN1 antibody
Intelectin-1 also known as the intestinal lactoferrin receptor is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ITLN1 gene.Intelectin-1 functions both as a receptor for bacterial arabinogalactans and for lactoferrin. Has no effect on basal glucose uptake but enhances insulin-stimulated glucose uptake in adipocytes. Increases AKT phosphorylation in the absence and presence of insulin. May play a role in the defense system against microorganisms. May specifically recognize carbohydrate chains of pathogens and bacterial components containing galactofuranosyl residues, in a calcium-dependent manner.

Product Notes

The ITLN1 itln1 (Catalog #AAA4754443) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ITLN1 Rabbit pAb reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ITLN1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:1000-1:5000 ELISA: 1:2000-1:10,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ITLN1 itln1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ITLN1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
