Western Blot: Approx 150kDa band observed in Human Placenta lysates (calculated MW of 103kDa according to NP_002209.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to the glycosylated form. Recommended concentration: 0. 03-0.1ug/ml.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is secreted into the blood, where it is cleaved by plasma kallikrein into two smaller forms. Expression of this gene has been detected only in liver, and it seems to be upregulated during surgical trauma. This gene is part of a cluster of similar genes on chromosome 3. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2009]
Uniprot Description

Product Notes
The ITIH4 itih4 (Catalog #AAA422650) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-ITIH4 (aa890-903) Antibody reacts with Tested: Human; Expected from sequence similarity: Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ITIH4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 16000. Western Blot: Approx 150kDa band observed in Human Placenta lysates (calculated MW of 103kDa according to NP_002209.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to the glycosylated form. Recommended concentration: 0. 03-0.1ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ITIH4 itih4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: SDDGRRTLRV QGND. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ITIH4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
