Rabbit anti-Human IRS-2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-IRS-2 antibody
IRS-2, CT (Insulin Receptor Substrate 2, IRS2) (APC)
ELISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:50-1:100
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent image of Hela cell stained with IRS2 Antibody (C-term).Hela cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with IRS2 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree C). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree C).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree C).IRS2 immunoreactivity is localized to Cytoplasm significantly. )
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-IRS2 Antibody (C-term) in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). IRS2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue reacted with IRS2 antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes the insulin receptor substrate 2, a cytoplasmic signaling molecule that mediates effects of insulin, insulin-like growth factor 1, and other cytokines by acting as a molecular adaptor between diverse receptor tyrosine kinases and downstream effectors. The product of this gene is phosphorylated by the insulin receptor tyrosine kinase upon receptor stimulation, as well as by an interleukin 4 receptor-associated kinase in response to IL4 treatment. Product Notes
The IRS-2 irs2 (Catalog #AAA6483602) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IRS-2, CT (Insulin Receptor Substrate 2, IRS2) (APC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IRS-2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:50-1:100 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IRS-2 irs2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IRS-2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
