Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 500ul sterile PBS.
Applicable Applications for anti-Itgb5 antibody
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Application Notes
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immuncytochemistry and ELISA.
Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Flow Cytometry: 50ug/ml, 10ul labels 1-2.5x10e5 MG-63 human osteosarcoma cells in a total reaction volume <200ul. The binding of unlabeled antibodies may be visualized by adding 10ul of a 25ug/ml stock solution of a secondary developing reagent such as anti-sheep lgG conjugated to a fluorochrome.
Immunocytochemistry: 10ug/ml detects Integrin, beta5 in MG-63 human osteosarcoma cells. Cells were fixed with PBS, 4% paraformaldehyde for 20 minutes at RT and blocked with PBS, 10% normal donkey serum, 0.1% Triton X-100, 1% BSA for 45 minutes at RT. After blocking, cells were incubated with diluted I7661-43E overnight at 4 degree C followed by Rhodamine Red coupled anti-sheep IgG at RT in the dark for one hour. Between each step, cells were washed with PBS, 0.1% BSA.
Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml. The detection limit is ~0.2ng/well.
Immunogen
CHO cell-derived recombinant human Integrin beta5, extracellular domain.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degree C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-Itgb5 antibody
Integrin beta5 is a 100-110kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein that forms a non-disulfide-linked heterodimer with Integrin aV. Integrin aVb5 is a receptor for vitronectin that is expressed on a wide variety of cell types including keratinocytes, fibroblasts, adhesive monocytes, and select endothelium. The 696 amino acid residue Integrin b5 extracellular region contains a vWF-A domain and a cysteine-rich tandem repeat region.

Product Notes

The Itgb5 itgb5 (Catalog #AAA618907) is an Antibody produced from Sheep and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Integrin, beta5 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Integrin, beta5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immuncytochemistry and ELISA. Dilution: Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit is ~5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Itgb5 itgb5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Integrin, beta5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
