The membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-Integrin beta 4/ITGB4 antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody (Catalog # MBS1753390) at 0. 25 μg/mL overnight at 4 degree C, then washed with TBS-0. 1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:5000 for 1. 5 hour at RT. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit (Catalog # MBS176460) with Tanon 5200 system. A specific band was detected for Integrin beta 4/ITGB4 at approximately 210KD. The expected band size for Integrin beta 4/ITGB4 is at 210KD. )

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Integrins are heterodimers comprised of alpha and beta subunits, that are noncovalently associated transmembrane glycoprotein receptors. Different combinations of alpha and beta polypeptides form complexes that vary in their ligand-binding specificities. Integrins mediate cell-matrix or cell-cell adhesion, and transduced signals that regulate gene expression and cell growth. This gene encodes the integrin beta 4 subunit, a receptor for the laminins. This subunit tends to associate with alpha 6 subunit and is likely to play a pivotal role in the biology of invasive carcinoma. Mutations in this gene are associated with epidermolysis bullosa with pyloric atresia. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. WB: 0.1-0.25ug/ml|Human, Mouse, Rat| IHC-P: 0.5-1ug/ml|Human| IF: 4ug/ml|Human| FC/FACS/FCM: 1-3ug/1x106 cells|Human| Direct ELISA: 0.1-0.5ug/ml|Human|. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ITGB4 itgb4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Integrin beta 4/ITGB4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
