Rabbit anti-Human INDO Polyclonal Antibody | anti-INDO antibody
INDO, CT (Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase, IDO-1, EC 1.13.11.52, Indoleamine-pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenase, IDO1, INDO, IDO) (HRP)
ELISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:50-1:100
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-INDO Antibody (C-term) in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). INDO(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma tissue reacted with INDO antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) - a heme enzyme that catalyzes the first and rate-limiting step in tryptophan catabolism to N-formyl-kynurenine. This enzyme acts on multiple tryptophan substrates including D-tryptophan, L-tryptophan, 5-hydroxy-tryptophan, tryptamine, and serotonin. This enzyme is thought to play a role in a variety of pathophysiological processes such as antimicrobial and antitumor defense, neuropathology, immunoregulation, and antioxidant activity. Through its expression in dendritic cells, monocytes, and macrophages this enzyme modulates T-cell behavior by its peri-cellular catabolization of the essential amino acid tryptophan.[provided by RefSeq, Feb 2011]

Product Notes
The INDO ido1 (Catalog #AAA6481597) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The INDO, CT (Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase, IDO-1, EC 1.13.11.52, Indoleamine-pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenase, IDO1, INDO, IDO) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's INDO can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:10-1:50 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:50-1:100 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the INDO ido1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "INDO, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
