The membrane was incubated with rabbit anti-IKK gamma antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody at 0.5ug/mL overnight at 4 degree C, then washed with TBS-0.1%Tween 3 times with 5 minutes each and probed with a goat anti-rabbit IgG-HRP secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10000 for 1.5 hour at RT. The signal is developed using an Enhanced Chemiluminescent detection (ECL) kit with Tanon 5200 system. A specific band was detected for IKK gamma at approximately 48KD. The expected band size for IKK gamma is at 48KD. )

Background: NF-kappa-B essential modulator (NEMO), also known as inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit gamma (IKK-gamma), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IKBKG gene. This gene encodes the regulatory subunit of the inhibitor of kappaB kinase (IKK) complex, which activates NF-kappaB resulting in activation of genes involved in inflammation, immunity, cell survival, and other pathways.
