NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is a member of the Abd-B homeobox family and encodes a protein with a homeobox DNA-binding domain. It is included in a cluster of homeobox D genes located on chromosome 2. The encoded nuclear protein functions as a sequence-specific transcription factor that is expressed in the developing limb buds and is involved in differentiation and limb development. Mutations in this gene have been associated with Wilm's tumor and congenital vertical talus (also known as "rocker-bottom foot" deformity or congenital convex pes valgus) and/or a foot deformity resembling that seen in Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. Uniprot Description
HOXD10: Sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. Defects in HOXD10 are a cause of congenital vertical talus (CVT); also known as rocker-bottom foot deformity or congenital convex pes valgus. CVT is a dislocation of the talonavicular joint, with rigid dorsal dislocation of the navicular over the neck of the talus. This condition is usually associated with multiple other congenital deformities and only rarely is an isolated deformity. Belongs to the Abd-B homeobox family.

Product Notes
The HOXD10 hoxd10 (Catalog #AAA619043) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Homeobox D10 (HOXD10, HOX4, HOX4D, HOX4E, Hox-4.4, Homeo box 4D, Homeo box D10) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Homeobox D10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: ELISA: 1:32000 Western Blot: 0.2-0.6ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HOXD10 hoxd10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Homeobox D10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
