NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Histamine is a ubiquitous messenger molecule released from mast cells, enterochromaffin-like cells, and neurons. Its various actions are mediated by histamine receptors H1, H2, H3 and H4. This gene encodes one of the histamine receptors (H3) which belongs to the family 1 of G protein-coupled receptors. It is an integral membrane protein and can regulate neurotransmitter release. This receptor can also increase voltage-dependent calcium current in smooth muscles and innervates the blood vessels and the heart in cardiovascular system. [provided by RefSeq]
Uniprot Description
H3R: The H3 subclass of histamine receptors could mediate the histamine signals in CNS and peripheral nervous system. Signals through the inhibition of adenylate cyclase and displays high constitutive activity (spontaneous activity in the absence of agonist). Agonist stimulation of isoform 3 niether modified adenylate cyclase activity nor induced intracellular calcium mobilization. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. 7 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The HRH3 hrh3 (Catalog #AAA623963) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Histamine H3 Receptor (HH3R, H3R, Histamine Receptor H3, HRH3, HGNC:5184, G Protein Coupled Receptor 97, GPCR97) reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Histamine H3 Receptor can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot. Dilution: Western Blot: 0.75ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HRH3 hrh3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Histamine H3 Receptor, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
