Rabbit HIST1H2BG Polyclonal Antibody | anti-HIST1H2BC antibody
HIST1H2BG Antibody (N-term)
for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in
eukaryotes. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A,
H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp
of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The
linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes
and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order
structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a member of the
histone H2B family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails but
instead contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is
found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6. [provided

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Histones are basic nuclear proteins that are responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes. Nucleosomes consist of approximately 146 bp of DNA wrapped around a histone octamer composed of pairs of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4). The chromatin fiber is further compacted through the interaction of a linker histone, H1, with the DNA between the nucleosomes to form higher order chromatin structures. The protein has antibacterial and antifungal antimicrobial activity. This gene is intronless and encodes a member of the histone H2B family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails; instead, they contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6p22-p21.3. Uniprot Description
H2B1C: a core component of the nucleoosome. The nucleosome, a basic organizational unit of chromosomal DNA, is octrameric, consisting of two molecules each of histones H2B, H2A, H3, H4. The octamer wraps approximately 147 bp of DNA. Nucleosomes wrap and compact DNA into chromatin, limiting DNA accessibility to the cellular machineries which require DNA as a template. Histones thereby play a central role in transcription regulation, DNA repair, DNA replication and chromosomal stability. DNA accessibility is regulated via a complex set of post-translational modifications of histones, also called histone code, and nucleosome remodeling.

The HIST1H2BC hist1h2bc (Catalog #AAA9202199) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 1-30. The HIST1H2BG Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human, Zebrafish (Predicted Reactivity: Xenopus, Mouse, Bovine, Monkey, Chicken, Zebrafish) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HIST1H2BG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HIST1H2BC hist1h2bc for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HIST1H2BG, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
