Related Product Information for anti-LOC101956162 antibody
HBA1 (hemoglobin alpha chain) protein is a alpha-type chain of hemoglobin encoded by two independent genes (HBA1 and HBA2) whose coding sequences are identical. Two alpha chains coupled with two beta chains constitute the adult hemoglobin (HbA or ?2?2). HBA1 is also the component of fetal hemoglobin (HbF or ?2?2). This antibody detects a major band around 14-16 kDa in the western blot analysis of heart tissue and K-562 cells. A higher band around 26-27 kDa can also be observed occasionally, which may represents the dimer form of HBA1 . This antibody may cross-react with other hemoglobin chains.

Product Notes

The LOC101956162 (Catalog #AAA7600058) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Hemoglobin alpha Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Hemoglobin alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, WB, IP. WB : 1:500-1:2000 IP :1:500-1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the LOC101956162 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Hemoglobin alpha, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
