Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor (GDI) (MaxLight 750)

Reactivity
Bovine, Human, Mouse, Rat
Applications
Immunoprecipitation
Purity
Purified by Immunoaffinity chromatography.
Synonyms
Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor; Polyclonal Antibody; Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor (GDI) (MaxLight 750); anti-GDI antibody
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Bovine, Human, Mouse, Rat
Clonality
Polyclonal
Isotype
IgG
Specificity
Specific for GDI-1 (~50kD). GDI-1 is also referred to as GDI-a and Rab3A GDI (1). Crossreactivity to GDI-2 (~46kD) has been observed. A synthetic peptide, corresponding to a 20 amino acid sequence of bovine brain Rab Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor (GDI), was conjugated to carrier protein and used as the immunogen. This sequence is conserved in both mouse and rat GDI proteins. Human, mouse and rat. Reactivity has been confirmed by Western blot analysis of extracts derived from human HEK293 cells and of recombinant bovine Rab-GDI.
Purity/Purification
Purified by Immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form/Format
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservatives added. Labeled with MaxLight750.
Applicable Applications for anti-GDI antibody
Immunoprecipitation (IP), FLISA
Application Notes
IP: 5-10ug
FLISA: 0.5-1ug/ml
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
A 20 amino acid synthetic peptide derived from bovine brain Rab Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor (GDI).
Conjugate
MaxLight750
Note
Preservative Free
Preparation and Storage
Store product at 4 degree C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight750 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Product Notes

The GDI (Catalog #AAA6479296) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor (GDI) (MaxLight 750) reacts with Bovine, Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), FLISA. IP: 5-10ug FLISA: 0.5-1ug/ml Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GDI for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Guanine Nucleotide Dissociation Inhibitor, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
