Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(o) subunit alpha Polyclonal Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
G-alpha(o): Guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) are involved as modulators or transducers in various transmembrane signaling systems. The G(o) protein function is not clear. Stimulated by RGS14. Interacts with RGS14. G proteins are composed of 3 units; alpha, beta and gamma. The alpha chain contains the guanine nucleotide binding site. Belongs to the G-alpha family. G(i/o/t/z) subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: G protein; G protein, heterotrimeric; G protein, heterotrimeric alpha G((i/o/t/z))
Cellular Component: dendrite; heterotrimeric G-protein complex; membrane; myelin sheath; neuron projection; protein complex
Molecular Function: corticotropin-releasing hormone receptor 1 binding; G-protein beta/gamma-subunit binding; GTP binding; GTPase activating protein binding; GTPase activity; metabotropic serotonin receptor binding; mu-type opioid receptor binding; protein binding; protein complex binding; signal transducer activity

Product Notes
The Gnao1 gnao1 (Catalog #AAA9415195) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(o) subunit alpha Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(o) subunit alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot: 1:500 - 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Gnao1 gnao1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(o) subunit alpha, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
