Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of extracts from Rat liver, using GP210 Antibody. The lane on the left was treated with blocking peptide.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)/Immunocytochemistry (ICC)
(MBS9612295 staining Hela cells by IF/ICC. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100,then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were then incubated with primary Ab(MBS9612295) and mouse anti-beta tubulin Ab(T0023) for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) Ab(Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) Ab(Green) were used as the secondary antibody. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI(blue).)
Post Translational Modifications: N-glycosylated, but not all potential glycosylation sites may be used. Contains high-mannose type oligosaccharides (By similarity).Phosphorylated at Ser-1881 in mitosis specifically; not phosphorylated in interphase.
Subcellular Location: Nucleus>Nuclear pore complex. Nucleus membrane>Single-pass type I membrane protein. Endoplasmic reticulum membrane>Single-pass type I membrane protein.
Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitous expression, with highest levels in lung, liver, pancreas, testis, and ovary, intermediate levels in brain, kidney, and spleen, and lowest levels in heart and skeletal muscle.
Subunit Structure: Forms dimers and possibly higher-order oligomers.
Similarity: Belongs to the NUP210 family.

NCBI Description
The nuclear pore complex is a massive structure that extends across the nuclear envelope, forming a gateway that regulates the flow of macromolecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. Nucleoporins are the main components of the nuclear pore complex in eukaryotic cells. The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane-spanning glycoprotein that is a major component of the nuclear pore complex. Multiple pseudogenes related to this gene are located on chromosome 3. The NUP210 nup210 (Catalog #AAA9612295) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GP210 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat Predicted Reactivity: Pig(88%), Horse(88%), Rabbit(100%), Dog(100%) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GP210 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IF: 1:100-1:500 ICC: 1:100-1:500 ELISA(peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NUP210 nup210 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GP210, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
