Rabbit anti-Human GAS6 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-GAS6 antibody
Anti-GAS6 Antibody
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of GAS6 expression in SW480 (A), COLO205 (B) whole cell lysates.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of GAS6 staining in human brain formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a gamma-carboxyglutamic acid (Gla)-containing protein thought to be involved in the stimulation of cell proliferation. This gene is frequently overexpressed in many cancers and has been implicated as an adverse prognostic marker. Elevated protein levels are additionally associated with a variety of disease states, including venous thromboembolic disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, chronic renal failure, and preeclampsia. Uniprot Description
GAS6: Ligand for tyrosine-protein kinase receptors AXL, TYRO3 and MER whose signaling is implicated in cell growth and survival, cell adhesion and cell migration. GAS6/AXL signaling plays a role in various processes such as endothelial cell survival during acidification by preventing apoptosis, optimal cytokine signaling during human natural killer cell development, hepatic regeneration, gonadotropin-releasing hormone neuron survival and migration, platelet activation, or regulation of thrombotic responses. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The GAS6 gas6 (Catalog #AAA8242146) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-GAS6 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GAS6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Western Blot: (1/500 - 1/1000); Immunohistochemistry: (1/100 - 1/200). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GAS6 gas6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GAS6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
