FOXQ1 Antibody - N-terminal region
Target Description: FOXQ1 contains 1 fork-head DNA-binding domain. FOXQ1 mediates the interaction of Akt/protein kinase B with TGFb2. Foxq1 regulates differentiation of hair in satin mice.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
FOXQ1 is a member of the FOX gene family, which is characterized by a conserved 110-amino acid DNA-binding motif called the forkhead or winged helix domain. FOX genes are involved in embryonic development, cell cycle regulation, tissue-specific gene expression, cell signaling, and tumorigenesis (Bieller et al., 2001 [PubMed 11747606]).[supplied by OMIM, May 2009]

The FOXQ1 Antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FOXQ1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FOXQ1 foxq1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: PAAGGGARDT QGDGEQSAGG GPGAEEAIPA AAAAAVVAEG AEAGAAGPGA. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FOXQ1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
