Related Product Information for anti-FBXW11 antibody
Description: Substrate recognition component of a SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. Probably recognizes and binds to phosphorylated target proteins. SCF(FBXW11) mediates the ubiquitination of phosphorylated CTNNB1 and participates in Wnt signaling. SCF(FBXW11) mediates the ubiquitination of phosphorylated NFKBIA, which degradation frees the associated NFKB1 to translocate into the nucleus and to activate transcription. SCF(FBXW11) mediates the ubiquitination of IFNAR1. SCF(FBXW11) mediates the ubiquitination of CEP68; this is required for centriole separation during mitosis (PubMed:25503564). Involved in the oxidative stress-induced a ubiquitin-mediated decrease in RCAN1. Mediates the degradation of CDC25A induced by ionizing radiation in cells progressing through S phase and thus may function in the intra-S-phase checkpoint. Has an essential role in the control of the clock-dependent transcription via degradation of phosphorylated PER1 and phosphorylated PER2. SCF(FBXW11) mediates the ubiquitination of CYTH1, and probably CYTH2 (PubMed:29420262).

Subunit Structure: Self-associates. Component of the SCF(FBXW11) complex formed of CUL1, SKP1, RBX1 and a FBXW11 dimer. Interacts with BTRC, BST2, PER1, RCAN1 and USP47. Interacts with phosphorylated ubiquitination substrates CTNNB1, NFKBIA, IFNAR1, PER1 and PER2; the interaction requires the phosphorylation of the two serine residues in the substrates' destruction motif D-S-G-X(2,3,4)-S. Interacts with TRIM21. Interacts with PER3. Interacts with phosphorylated ubiquitination substrate CEP68 (PubMed:25503564). Interacts with INAVA (PubMed:29420262).

Similarity: The N-terminal D domain mediates homodimerization.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the F-box protein family which is characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid motif, the F-box. The F-box proteins constitute one of the four subunits of ubiquitin protein ligase complex called SCFs (SKP1-cullin-F-box), which function in phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination. The F-box proteins are divided into 3 classes: Fbws containing WD-40 domains, Fbls containing leucine-rich repeats, and Fbxs containing either different protein-protein interaction modules or no recognizable motifs. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the Fbws class and, in addition to an F-box, contains multiple WD40 repeats. This gene contains at least 14 exons, and its alternative splicing generates 3 transcript variants diverging at the presence/absence of two alternate exons. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The FBXW11 fbxw11 (Catalog #AAA9611760) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FBXW11 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat Predicted: Pig, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit, Dog, Chicken and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FBXW11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FBXW11 fbxw11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FBXW11, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
