Applicable Applications for anti-Eotaxin antibody
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, ELISA (EIA), Neutralization, Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes
IHC-P: This antibody stained formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human carcinoid tissue. The recommended concentration is 0.50-0.75ug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4 degree C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended.
ELISA: To detect hEotaxin by sandwich ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2ug/ml of this antibody is required.
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition of the biological activity of hEotaxin (100ng/ml), a concentration of 8.0-10ug/ml of this antibody is required.
WB: To detect hEotaxin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hEotaxin is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Highly purified human Eotaxin.
Conjugate
HRP
Note
Preservative Free
Preparation and Storage
Store product at 4 degree C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable at -20 degree C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.

Product Notes

The Eotaxin (Catalog #AAA6403504) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Eotaxin (CCL11, C-C Motif Chemokine 11, Eosinophil Chemotactic Protein, Small-inducible Cytokine A11, SCYA11, MGC22554) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Eotaxin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, ELISA (EIA), Neutralization, Western Blot (WB). IHC-P: This antibody stained formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human carcinoid tissue. The recommended concentration is 0.50-0.75ug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4 degree C. Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Eotaxin for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Eotaxin, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
