NCBI Description

ENTPD3 is similar to E-type nucleotidases (NTPases). NTPases, such as CD39, mediate catabolism of extracellular nucleotides. ENTPD3 contains 4 apyrase-conserved regions which is characteristic of NTPases. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Function: Has a threefold preference for the hydrolysis of ATP over ADP.

Catalytic activity: A nucleoside 5'-triphosphate + 2 H2O = a nucleoside 5'-phosphate + 2 phosphate.

Cofactor: Ca2+ or Mg2+.

Subcellular location: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein

Potential.

Tissue specificity: Expressed in adult brain, pancreas, spleen and prostate. Moderate or low expression is seen in most tissues. Not expressed in liver and peripheral blood leukocytes.

Sequence similarities: Belongs to the GDA1/CD39 NTPase family.

Product Notes

The ENTPD3 entpd3 (Catalog #AAA647904) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ENTPD3 (Ectonucleoside Triphosphate Diphosphohydrolase 3, NTPDase 3, CD39 Antigen-like 3, Ecto-ATP Diphosphohydrolase 3, Ecto-ATPDase 3, Ecto-ATPase 3, Ecto-apyrase 3, HB6, CD39L3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ENTPD3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ENTPD3 entpd3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ENTPD3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
