Related Product Information for anti-eNOS antibody
Endothelial nitric-oxide synthase (eNOS) is an important enzyme in the cardiovascular system. It catalyzes the production of nitric oxide (NO), a key regulator of blood pressure, vascular remodeling and angiogenesis (1,2). eNOS is regulated by phosphorylation at multiple sites. The two most throughly studied sites are the activation site serine 1177 and the inhibitory site threonine 495 (3). Several protein kinases including Akt/PKB, PKA and AMPK activate eNOS by phosphorylating Ser1177 in response to various stimuli (4,5). In contrast, bradykinin and hydrogen peroxide activate eNOS activity by promoting Thr495 dephosphorylation (6,7).

Product Notes

The eNOS enos (Catalog #AAA624591) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The eNOS, phosphorylated (Thr495) (Endothelial Nitric Oxide Synthase, NOS 3, NOS III) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's eNOS can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot. Dilution: Immunoprecipitation: 1:100 Western Blot: 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the eNOS enos for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "eNOS, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
