ECM1 Antibody
IHC: 1:200-1:500
Constituents: 50% Glycerol, 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4
Western Blot (WB)
(Western BlotPositive WB detected in: MCF-7 whole cell lysateAll lanes: ECM1 antibody at 4.5ug/mlSecondaryGoat polyclonal to rabbit IgG at 1/50000 dilutionPredicted band size: 61, 47, 20, 64 KDaObserved band size: 47 KDa)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(IHC image of MBS7107851 diluted at 1:200 and staining in paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4 degree C overnight. The primary is detected by a biotinylated secondary antibody and visualized using an HRP conjugated SP system.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a soluble protein that is involved in endochondral bone formation, angiogenesis, and tumor biology. It also interacts with a variety of extracellular and structural proteins, contributing to the maintenance of skin integrity and homeostasis. Mutations in this gene are associated with lipoid proteinosis disorder (also known as hyalinosis cutis et mucosae or Urbach-Wiethe disease) that is characterized by generalized thickening of skin, mucosae and certain viscera. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2011]
Uniprot Description
Involved in endochondral bone formation as negative regulator of bone mineralization. Stimulates the proliferation of endothelial cells and promotes angiogenesis. Inhibits MMP9 proteolytic activity.

Product Notes
The ECM1 ecm1 (Catalog #AAA7107851) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ECM1 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ECM1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:500-1:5000 IHC: 1:200-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ECM1 ecm1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ECM1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
