Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

(Immunohistochemical analysis of DZIP3 staining in human prostate cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.)

Uniprot Description

DZIP3: E3 Ubiquitin ligase proteins mediate ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin- conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. Able to specifically bind RNA. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: RNA-binding; Ubiquitin ligase; Ubiquitin conjugating system; EC 6.3.2.19; Ligase; EC 6.3.2.-

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 3q13.13

Cellular Component: cytoplasm

Molecular Function: ligase activity; phosphatase binding; polyubiquitin binding; protein binding; RNA binding; ubiquitin-protein ligase activity; zinc ion binding

Biological Process: proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; protein polyubiquitination; protein ubiquitination during ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process

Product Notes

The DZIP3 dzip3 (Catalog #AAA8242390) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-DZIP3 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DZIP3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Western Blot: (1/500 - 1/1000); Immunohistochemistry: (1/100 - 1/200). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DZIP3 dzip3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DZIP3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
