NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is a member of a multi-gene family which shares strong similarity with the Drosophila dishevelled gene, dsh. The Drosophila dishevelled gene encodes a cytoplasmic phosphoprotein that regulates cell proliferation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
DVL3: a protein in the WNT/planar cell polarity (PCP) signaling pathway. Dvl2-deficient mice indicate that Dvl2 is essential for normal cardiac morphogenesis, somite segmentation and neural tube closure. Transduces the Wnt signal by interacting with the cytoplasmic Axin complex. Dvl and Axin each contain a DIX domains, which mediate their dynamic polymerization. The Dvl-Axin interaction is essential for Wnt signaling. Interacts through its PDZ domain with the C-terminal regions of VANGL1 and VANGL2. Interacts with Dixin and Rac. There is functional redundancy between Dvl1 and Dvl2 in some phenotypes.
Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis

Product Notes
The DVL3 dvl3 (Catalog #AAA9211093) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 530-557. The DVL3 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human, mouse (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DVL3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB~~1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DVL3 dvl3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DVL3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
