Rabbit anti-Human DLEC1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-DLEC1 antibody
DLEC1 Antibody (Center)
and is located in the 3p22-p21.3 chromosomal segment that is
commonly deleted in various carcinomas. Several alternatively
spliced transcripts have been observed that contain disrupted
coding regions and likely encode nonfunctional proteins. Aberrant
transcription of this gene may be involved in carcinogenesis of the
lung, esophagus, and kidney.

NCBI Description
This gene contains 37 exons, spans approximately 59-kb, and is located in the 3p22-p21.3 chromosomal segment that is commonly deleted in various carcinomas. Several alternatively spliced transcripts have been observed that contain disrupted coding regions and likely encode nonfunctional proteins. Uniprot Description
DLEC1: May act as a tumor suppressor by inhibiting cell proliferation. DLEC1 silencing due to promoter methylation and aberrant transcription are implicated in the development of different cancers, including esophageal (ESCR), renal and lung cancers (LNCR). Defects in DLEC1 are a cause of lung cancer (LNCR). A common malignancy affecting tissues of the lung. The most common form of lung cancer is non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that can be divided into 3 major histologic subtypes: squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and large cell lung cancer. NSCLC is often diagnosed at an advanced stage and has a poor prognosis. DLEC1 silencing due to promoter methylation and aberrant transcription are implicated in the development of lung cancer. Defects in DLEC1 are a cause of esophageal cancer (ESCR). A malignancy of the esophagus. The most common types are esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma. Cancer of the esophagus remains a devastating disease because it is usually not detected until it has progressed to an advanced incurable stage. DLEC1 silencing due to promoter methylation and aberrant transcription are implicated in the development of esophageal cancer. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The DLEC1 dlec1 (Catalog #AAA9203170) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 879-908. The DLEC1 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DLEC1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DLEC1 dlec1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DLEC1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
