Rabbit anti-Mouse DHFR Polyclonal Antibody | anti-DHFR antibody
DHFR, CT (Dihydrofolate Reductase) (FITC)
ELISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of DHFR antibody (C-term) in mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). KLF4 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(DHFR Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human lung carcinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the DHFR Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of DHFR (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal DHFR Antibody (C-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the DHFR gene.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
DHFR: Key enzyme in folate metabolism. Contributes to the de novo mitochondrial thymidylate biosynthesis pathway. Catalyzes an essential reaction for de novo glycine and purine synthesis, and for DNA precursor synthesis. Binds its own mRNA and that of DHFRL1. Defects in DHFR are the cause of megaloblastic anemia due to dihydrofolate reductase deficiency (DHFRD). DHFRD is an inborn error of metabolism, characterized by megaloblastic anemia and/or pancytopenia, severe cerebral folate deficiency, and cerebral tetrahydrobiopterin deficiency. Clinical features include variable neurologic symptoms, ranging from severe developmental delay and generalized seizures in infancy, to childhood absence epilepsy with learning difficulties, to lack of symptoms. Belongs to the dihydrofolate reductase family.

Product Notes
The DHFR dhfr (Catalog #AAA6472760) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DHFR, CT (Dihydrofolate Reductase) (FITC) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DHFR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DHFR dhfr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DHFR, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
