Related Product Information for anti-DENR antibody
This gene encodes a protein whose expression was found to increase in cultured cells at high density but not during growth arrest. This gene was also shown to have increased expression in cells overexpressing HER-2/neu proto-oncogene. The protein contains an SUI1 domain. In budding yeast, SUI1 is a translation initiation factor that along with eIF-2 and the initiator tRNA-Met, directs the ribosome to the proper translation start site. Proteins similar to SUI have been found in mammals, insects, and plants.

Uniprot Description

DENR: May be involved in the translation of target mRNAs by scanning and recognition of the initiation codon. Plays a role in the modulation of the translational profile of a subset of cancer- related mRNAs when recruited to the translational initiation complex by the oncogene MCTS1. Belongs to the DENR family.

Protein type: RNA-binding; Translation

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q24.31

Molecular Function: protein binding; translation initiation factor activity

Biological Process: ribosome disassembly; formation of translation preinitiation complex

Product Notes

The DENR denr (Catalog #AAA4760215) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DENR Rabbit pAb reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DENR can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). WB: 1:200-1:1000 IHC-P: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DENR denr for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DENR, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
