Related Product Information for anti-DDX60 antibody
DDX60 Antibody: DDX60 is a DEXD/H Box RNA helicase and the human homolog of the S. cerevisiae Ski2, a cofactor of RNA exosome. Expression of DDX60 increases after viral infection and binds to endogenous RIG-I, a cytoplasmic viral RNA sensor, as well as other RIG-I-like receptors such as MDA5 and LGP2. These proteins activate TBK1 and IKK-e, signaling IRF3 and NF-kB-responsive genes in the innate immune response pathway. DDX60 is required for the RIG-I- or MDA5-dependent response to viral infection, but is dispensable for TLR3-mediated signaling.

Uniprot Description

DDX60: Positively regulates DDX58/RIG-I- and IFIH1/MDA5- dependent type I interferon and interferon inducible gene expression in response to viral infection. Binds ssRNA, dsRNA and dsDNA and can promote the binding of DDX58/RIG-I to dsRNA. Exhibits antiviral activity against hepatitis C virus and vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV). Belongs to the helicase family.

Product Notes

The DDX60 ddx60 (Catalog #AAA153369) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DDX60 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DDX60 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). DDX60 antibody can be used for detection of DDX60 by Western blot at 1 - 2 mug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 20 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DDX60 ddx60 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DDX60, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
