Related Product Information for anti-DDX50 antibody
ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX50 (also known as GU2, GUB, mcdrh and RH-II/GuB) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DDX50 gene. DDX50 is a member of the DEAD box family that may be involved in ribosomal RNA synthesis or processing. DDX50 and DDX21, also called RH-II/GuA, have similar genomic structures and are in tandem orientation on chromosome 10, suggesting that the two genes arose by gene duplication in evolution. DDX50 has pseudogenes on chromosomes 2, 3 and 4. Alternative splicing of this gene generates multiple transcript variants, but the full length nature of all the other variants but one has not been defined.

Product Notes

The DDX50 (Catalog #AAA8108718) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-DDX50 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DDX50 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DDX50 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DDX50, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
