Related Product Information for anti-DDX41 antibody
Goat anti DDX41 antibody recognizes probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX41, also known as DEAD box protein 41 and ABS.

DDX41 is a helicase and a member of the DEAD-box family of proteins. It functions through the STING-TBK1-IRF3 pathway during innate immunity (Jiang et al. 2017) and is an important sensor of DNA viruses including HSV-1 and adenovirus, directly binding to DNA and STING via its DEADc domain (Zhang et al. 2011). DDX41 has been associated with hematological malignancies, with mutations in DDX41 identified in patients with myeloid neoplasms (Peters et al. 2017).

NCBI Description

DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure, such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of the DEAD box protein family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. This gene encodes a member of this family. The function of this member has not been determined. Based on studies in Drosophila, the abstrakt gene is widely required during post-transcriptional gene expression. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The DDX41 ddx41 (Catalog #AAA226144) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti DDX41 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DDX41 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology-Paraffin (P), Western Blot (WB). P: 5ug/ml WB: 0.5ug/ml to 2ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DDX41 ddx41 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DDX41, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
