Uniprot Description

CCNB1: a member of the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases. Complexes with cdc2 to form the maturation-promoting factor (MPF). Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been found, a constitutively expressed form and a cell cycle-regulated form that is expressed predominantly during G2/M phase.

Protein type: Activator; Cell cycle regulation

Cellular Component: spindle pole; centrosome; cytoskeleton; membrane; cytoplasm; nucleus

Molecular Function: protein binding; protein complex binding; patched binding; histone kinase activity; kinase activity; protein kinase binding

Biological Process: mitosis; positive regulation of histone phosphorylation; in utero embryonic development; regulation of cell cycle; positive regulation of attachment of spindle microtubules to kinetochore; positive regulation of mRNA 3'-end processing; positive regulation of cell cycle; cell cycle; positive regulation of mitotic cell cycle; oocyte maturation; mitotic metaphase plate congression; protein amino acid phosphorylation; positive regulation of fibroblast proliferation; negative regulation of protein amino acid phosphorylation; cell division; protein complex assembly; regulation of cyclin-dependent protein kinase activity; mitotic spindle stabilization; positive regulation of cardiac muscle cell proliferation

Product Notes

The Ccnb1 ccnb1 (Catalog #AAA4751755) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Cyclin B1 Rabbit pAb reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Cyclin B1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB: 1:1000 IHC: 1:100 ICC/IF: 1:100 FC/FACS: 1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Ccnb1 ccnb1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cyclin B1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
