Related Product Information for anti-CTAG1A/B antibody
The protein encoded by this gene is an antigen that is overexpressed in many cancers but that is also expressed in normal testis. This gene is found in a duplicated region of the X-chromosome and therefore has a neighboring gene of identical sequence. Expressed in testis and ovary and in a wide variety of cancers. Detected in uterine myometrium. Expressed from 18 weeks until birth in human fetal testis. In the adult testis, is strongly expressed in spermatogonia and in primary spermatocytes, but not in post-meiotic cells or in testicular somatic cells (at protein level).

Product Notes

The CTAG1A/B ctag1a (Catalog #AAA2529168) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CTAG1A/B Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CTAG1A/B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). IHC: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CTAG1A/B ctag1a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CTAG1A/B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
