This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against CGB. It was validated on Western Blot

Target Description: This gene is a member of the glycoprotein hormone beta chain family and encodes the beta 3 subunit of chorionic gonadotropin (CG). Glycoprotein hormones are heterodimers consisting of a common alpha subunit and an unique beta subunit which confers biological specificity. CG is produced by the trophoblastic cells of the placenta and stimulates the ovaries to synthesize the steroids that are essential for the maintenance of pregnancy. The beta subunit of CG is encoded by 6 genes which are arranged in tandem and inverted pairs on chromosome 19q13.3 and contiguous with the luteinizing hormone beta subunit gene.

Product Notes

The CGB3 cgb (Catalog #AAA3214662) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CGB3 Antibody - C-terminal region reacts with Cow, Human, Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CGB3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CGB3 cgb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: CRRSTTDCGG PKDHPLTCDD PRFQDSSSSK APPPSLPSPS RLPGPSDTPI. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CGB3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
