CDK7, Phosphorylated (Thr170) (Cell Division Protein Kinase 7, CDK-activating Kinase, CAK, TFIIH Basal Transcription Factor Complex Kinase Subunit, 39kD Protein Kinase, P39 Mo15, STK1, CAK1, MO15) (Biotin)
ELISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:100-1:500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(The CDK7-T170 Pab is used in Western blot to detect CDK7-T170 in Ramos tissue lysate.)
Dot Blot (DB)
(Dot blot analysis of Phospho-Cdk7-T170 Pab on nitrocellulose membrane. 50ng of Phospho-peptide or Non Phospho-peptide per dot were adsorbed. Antibody working concentrations are 0.5ug per ml.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
CDK7: a protein kinase of the CDK family. Forms a trimeric complex with cyclin H and MAT1, which functions as a Cdk-activating kinase (CAK). Activates the cyclin-associated kinases CDK1, -2, -4 and -6. An essential component of the transcription factor TFIIH, that is involved in transcription initiation and DNA repair. Serves as a direct link between the regulation of transcription and the cell cycle. Phosphorylates and activates RNA polymerase II, allowing its escape from the promoter and elongation of the transcripts. Involved in cell cycle control and in RNA transcription by RNA polymerase II. Its expression and activity are constant throughout the cell cycle.

Product Notes
The CDK7 cdk7 (Catalog #AAA6468513) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDK7, Phosphorylated (Thr170) (Cell Division Protein Kinase 7, CDK-activating Kinase, CAK, TFIIH Basal Transcription Factor Complex Kinase Subunit, 39kD Protein Kinase, P39 Mo15, STK1, CAK1, MO15) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CDK7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-1:500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDK7 cdk7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDK7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
