Related Product Information for anti-cdc25B antibody
cdc25 is a protein phosphatase responsible for dephosphorylating and activating cdc2, a crucial step in regulating the entry of all eukaryotic cells into mitosis (1). cdc25C is constitutively phosphorylated at Ser216 throughout interphase by c-TAK1, while phosphorylation at this site is DNA damage-dependent at the G2/M checkpoint (2). When phosphorylated at Ser216, cdc25C binds to members of the 14-3-3 family of proteins, sequestering cdc25C in the cytoplasm preventing premature mitosis (3). The checkpoint kinases Chk1 and Chk2 phosphorylate cdc25C at Ser216 in response to DNA damage (4,5). The major 14-3-3 binding sites of cdc25B are Ser309 and Ser361, both of which can be phosphorylated by p38 in response to ultraviolet radiation (6).

Product Notes

The cdc25B cdc25b (Catalog #AAA126110) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit polyclonal to Human cdc25B reacts with Human, mouse, rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's cdc25B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1/200-500; IHC: 1/50-100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the cdc25B cdc25b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "cdc25B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
