Related Product Information for anti-CCR4 antibody
Background: CCR4 is a chemokine receptor and is preferentially expressed on type 2 helper T (Th2-type) cells. In contrast to other chemokine receptors, the expression of CCR4 and CCR8 on Th2 cells is transiently increased following TCR and CD28 engagement. Moreover, activated Th1 cells up-regulate CCR4 expression and functional responsiveness to thymus- and activation-regulated chemokine.

Uniprot Description

Acts as catalytic component of the CCR4-NOT core complex, which in the nucleus seems to be a general transcription factor, and in the cytoplasm the major mRNA deadenylase involved in mRNA turnover. CCR4 has 3'-5' RNase activity with a strong preference for polyadenylated substrates and also low exonuclease activity towards single-stranded DNA. Discovered because of its role in the control of ADH2 gene expression. It is required for the expression of genes involved in non-fermentative growth and it mediates or is required for the action of the SPT6 and SPT10 genes.

Product Notes

The CCR4 ccr4 (Catalog #AAA840622) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CCR4 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Dog and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCR4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western blotting (2-6 ug/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCR4 ccr4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCR4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
